ModSchool's Partners
ModSchool has had the opportunity to work with many community partners in the Centre County region of Pennsylvania. Part of the mission of ModSchool is to build community partners with organizations that have a similar mission; ultimately bringing partners together to build stronger communities together.
In our efforts to ensure the validity of the ModSchool curriculum and environment we have implemented our structures through pilot groups with different community partners.
Center Learning Community Charter School
Centre Learning Community Charter School: A tuition-free public middle school serving students in grades 5-8 in the greater Centre County region in State College, PA. ModSchool has partnered with this local community charter school to integrate our virtual project based learning curriculum and establish an academic and community partnership in the Centre County Community.
Youth Service Bureau and Stormbreak Girls Group Home + Burrowes Street Youth
ModSchool presented independent living workshops coordinated with the Youth Service Bureau. Workshops were focused in career-oriented skills that assisted with developing our “Emotionally Aware Animal Art” Art show displayed at our event with Centre County PAWS. Centre County PAWS
Local Pet shelter that partnered with ModSchool and offered an opportunity for our Access Hybrid and Youth Service Bureau Youth to apply their career-oriented skills involved in the ModSchool Pilot groups.
Access Hybrid
This is a homeschool community that has invited our partnership to incorporate our curriculum into their own course work. Their efforts were also incorporated into ModSchools partnership with PAWS in the “Emotionally Aware Animal Art” Art Show. See project pictures for more info!
